Tux's classiness to your Login Screen

Ubuntu login screen without default background flashing and the white dots (the grid)
If you want a clean and sleek boot from Power Button to Desktop in Ubuntu you need to do some changes. Here we show you how to remove the login screen default background and white dots (aka the grid).

The easy way (Use the installer)

1) Copy (Ctrl + C):
sudo apt -y install curl && bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tuxedojoe/tux4ubuntu/master/download-tux4ubuntu-installer.sh)
2) Open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T)

3) Paste (Ctrl + Shift + V) and run (ENTER) and choose where you want Tux
If something goes wrong, read our troubleshooting, if that doesn't help leave a comment below

Or, do it yourself

1) Download and install dconf-editor the theme by clicking here.
2) Then we need to run dconf-editor as a lightdm user for the changes to take effect, this we do by running a terminal and running the following commands:
sudo -i
xhost +SI:localuser:lightdm
su lightdm -s /bin/bash
dconf-editor
3) In dconf-editor navigate to unity greeter by clicking com > canonical > unity-greeter and disable draw-grid, remove value for background and set background-color to #00000 (see image below)
